I cannot tell you how pumped I am for this game. I’ll admit, when I was a kid I loved Star Wars. I hate the new movies except for the part where Vader becomes Vader. In all honesty I actually just watched Anakin become Vader on youtube haha.

The video games have always been topsy turvy with me. The battlefield games, where they were online only and for consoles kicked major ass. Other than that, I really didn’t care, but this game looks amazing.

The Force Unleashed is a game about being the new “apprentice” and learning how to master your powers. It’s just awesome, because I always liked the darker side of the force as a kid. I’m pretty excited that you start out as Darth Vader, with all the awesome tricks and powers at your disposal. The cinematic appeal of this game alone is worth it. Everything has been voiced over as well as the acting. The story is said to have a polished feel, and have multiple twists to keep you entertained. I can’t hardly wait.

The physics engine of the game is outstanding. The euphoria engine is bliss, and runs smooth. If you need an example of how it plays, just pop in GTA4. I really am amazed at how far technology has come, and am anxiously waiting to see how the AI reacts when you force grab them and dangle them in the air like a rag doll. Each AI apparently reacts different and can grab onto objects and hold onto them even suspended in the air.

Well, that is about all the info I have for you today. Below this little article, is the trailer for the game. Enjoy it, for it is pure awesome.

Big brother is getting closer and closer to controlling the masses folks!  Steve Jobs unveiled the new Iphone and boy does it look sleek and more affordable price.  Steve Jobs is quote as saying “We’ve learned so much with the first iPhone. We’ve taken what we’ve learned and more and created the iPhone 3G.”  I don’t know what I am more happy about.  The fact that every few months or so they release a new phone making it cheaper and more efficient.  Or the fact that whoever purchased the latest and best Iphone is getting screwed out of money due to the decrease in prices and new super releases of the same product.  Either way, its awesome.

I for one, don’t see why they can’t develop one Iphone with compatibility to just load everything off of the web.  I think that it would be more efficient as well as making their consumer pay more for the applications.  To me, it’s absurd that people are actually going out and buying these things up at such a fast pace.  This country is so upset about prices and economy, and our unwilling to cope with gas prices, yet we’ll go drop $300 bucks on a new phone because we have to have the latest and greatest…..is there something wrong there?

Call me crazy, but I see the problems that lie withtin there.  I forgot to mention how obessed society is with having the newest stuff to claim their social status.  Were all to blame though as well, its just as much our fault as it is the media outlet, because we eat this crap up like candy.

Hopefully it changes some day.  But, I worry as if something drastic has to happen before people even realize the total sense of hypocrisy they are living.

Since my Dali post is getting so many hits, I figured I should go ahead and write about another artist that I really dig, and try and pull alot of inspiration from when I try and create something worthwhile.  Andy Warhol being a local native of Pittsburgh immediatly grabbed my attention as a child because I felt that I instantly knew him(a sense of proudness I guess being born and raised around Pittsburgh…I was young…what can you expect…).  But, I grew up looking at his pictures thinking they were nice, full of color and crazy ideas, I just thought he was breaking the mold as to what other artists have done.  Now that I realize most of his drawings/painitngs/conceptions were all most likely drug induced, I still think they are amazing.

The 60’s were quite the time I would assume, and would like to for a day go back and just experience them.  Hell, I would love the fact that gas was practically free and everything was atleast a little simpler then.  But Warhol’s art is good enough to take me back and provide me an experience in American Pop Culture.

I guess I get more wrapped up in what the feeling was behind the art rather than the art itself, I should have taken a psychology course or something, just to dig deeper into the minds, and explore the thought processes of how things come about in life and the values and lessons they teach the artist.

The process is certainly fun, I enjoy reading and writing about these artist’s and how life has been handeled and constructed around them.  It certainly brings in a few more dimensions of our world.

So much has happened in the past couple of weeks, it’s been hard to post and actually spend some time on here!  I am now labeled as the Web Content Manger at Albert Elovtiz Inc.  The best way to describe what I do, is I am a web master.  I do all things web and deal with the web.  Pretty awesome because I can actually learn as I progress in my daily duties.
I loved where I came from, I’ll miss it for sure, but it was time to move on.  Life is funny like that.  Regardless of what anyone wants to think about being in control…your not.  Life doesn’t wait for anyone or anything.  This was just a simple case of me having to move on and grasp the opportunity that was given to me, and I am highly appreciative.  Moving on to another subject.  I am now thankfully back in the city of Pittsburgh…which was just rated the worst Soot city(http://green.yahoo.com/news/ap/20080501/ap_on_re_us/polluted_cities.html), taking of L.A.  Oh well though, I don’t notice it that much.

I’m a total city boy, I’m glad to be back in the city and seeing such a vast amount of culture and happenings on a daily basis.  It makes the 1 and 15 minute traffic commute in the morning bearable I guess.  That and you can always tell when a city is in a good mood.  The Penguins are in possible sweep mode of the New York Rangers, and the city is starting to have the feeling that we did when the Steeler’s went to the Super Bowl back in ’05.  It’s just an awesome feeling.

I’m just exstatic about the oppurtunities given when you work for them.  A new outlook on life, and a fresh start is totally warrented.  More to come as I figure this crazy awesome life out later….

Patrick Swayze Article

If this is truly the case, then that is some sad news I guess. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of anything he did(even roadhouse). About the only thing I decently liked from him was that cheap ass movie Black Dog and the marginal role he had in Donnie Darko. If this is the honest to god truth though, that is certainly getting the short end of the stick and prayers go out to him. I read this article and saw the headlines and didn’t believe it, also this comes from supposedly the National Enquirer(which sells garbage).

It’s a pretty crazy thing to break the news and say a person has 5 weeks to live. If this story isn’t true, or doesn’t have any leg to stand on, I would be suing the pants off of this magazine if I was him.

I don’t know what it is anymore. People have no common courtesy to leave people be when they are in times of trouble if they are famous. I understand it was their choice to be famous or their choice that they have to endure what has been created, but I certainly believe that after a certain time it should shut off.

There is so much money being handed to paps, for the photo of someone sneezing or someone doing something stupid. Maybe thats whats so wrong with this country, or people like us read about this stuff and soak it up like its going to play some important role in our life. I am guilty for the latter, I do read the celeb stuff, because I find it incredibly stupid how some people can be and willingly do it again because they are so concerned with how famous they are.

I guess thats about it for today, if the story is true, then best of luck and prayers to Swayze. It’s a tough life sometimes, but we gotta work with the cards were dealt I suppose…..

Man, I still can’t believe Myron Cope has passed away today. I remember my dad listening to him during games with the sound off saying “Phil Simms is the worst announcer I have ever heard, put on the radio and lets listen to Cope.” I can safely say at the time, I always thought it was ridiculous because my brother and I would get yelled at for leaving a light on. But for two to three hours on a Sunday, he would have both the T.V. and the old radio, blasting at the same time.

I guess you could say, more or less, that I now understand what he brought to the Steeler’s and how it changed Sunday and made it better for us fans. Nobody wants to listen to the announcers on T.V. if your a Steeler’s fan, because mostly it seems that if every game, they are always against us, and never point out anything good. It’s always so negative. I to this day still turn DVE on because honest to god, I can’t stand Phill Simms and Troy Aikmen, when either of them are announcing, I instinctively turn that radio on.

I guess, you can consider it a game day tradition, that my father instilled in me because he loved hearing Cope and the gang actually represent the Steeler’s and not negative talk for the most part(only when they had boneheaded plays.) A tradition that Myron Cope played a part in. A tradition that made Steeler football games that much better. A tradition that will continue even without the legend himself. Not because I or any other fan wants it to, but because it was his time to watch the football games from the sky. R.I.P. Myron Cope 1929-2008.

horrible.  Life has its way of biting you in the butt.  When everything is going normal, life has a way of taking you down a peg.  It’s hilarious how it works, but it’s almost like your on the outside looking in.  You don’t realize anything is going to happen until it’s right there smacking you in the face. I’ve been in a funk, and its gotten to the point that I see a lot of realization happening.  That’s about all I  have to say today.
