So today I am pretty bored.  Usually Monday’s start off with a bang, but here at the office nothing out of the ordinary has happened.  We had one customer integration problem, but other than that, all I had to do was send it to our CMS database company and they work on it.

Sports are in a Lul moment, but I can safely say only 7 more weeks till vacation AND Steeler’s training camp.  I can’t freaking wait to go watch them(thats the glory of being a resident of Greensburg I guess haha)!  Other than that, the Celtics/Lakers series is turning out to be a pretty straight forward go around.  I’m rooting for the Celtics.  I love Coach Jackson, but when he went to the Lakers I felt he sold out.  I remember back when, the last championship Jackson won with the Bulls he said he was done….then the money pulled him right back.  I say more power to him, but it just comes off as a great way to join a stacked team with Kobe and Shaq to just gain some more rings.  Oh well, I’ll die with my tin-foil hate theorys hahaha.  Go Celtics!  I just want KG and Pierce to get a title, with what both of them have been through on mediocre teams and all, I hope they pull it off.

Hockey season is over and it ended on a stale note with the Pens, oh well maybe next year.  But, with what Hossa said earlier this week about signing for less, I really hope it comes through!  Although were gonna lose many decent players, maybe we can keep Sid and Hossa togethor for a few years.

Ok well other than that, I got nothing.  I hope everything is going smooth for the people that read my stuff out there.  Have fun and enjoy that weather.
P.S. Gas prices piss me off!

Wow, and I sure am feeling it at work today.  I am sure they felt it last night though ha ha.  It truly was a gritty performance by both teams as it was played well into the night in a triple over time thriller.

It really was looking grim with a minute to go and the Red Wings closing in on their 11th Stanley Cup.  Until the gods from above spoke and said Max Talbot will score the game tying goal, with the Pens goalie pulled.  At that time last night, it had to of been 10:30pm and my parents in bed, I start yelling in excitement as it happened.  I must have scared the crap out of my mom because she was like wtf.

Upon that time, I figured it was over in the first after a flurry of chances in overtime and sooner or later Fluery would have not stopped.  But they kept coming and he kept producing.   It was just an all around amazing night, even if alot of it had luck involved.

I’m just sick of the Detroit fans,  I am sick of their “Ego.”  I honestly hope that they fail hard or something dramatic happens and makes them rethink their situation.  I couldn’t be happier to see them get whats coming to them.  Well, maybe not as much as Cleveland(sucks).

On that note, Malkin got a most needed assist to help Sykora score the game winner.  Fantastic job all around gang.  Here’s to a game six victory and possible game seven victory as well.  They are learning about the Red Wings more and more.  Hopefully it starts bouncing in our favor.

I am just happy we took the Old guys on the Wing’s team 3 deep into the night, hopefully our young legs will be ready on Wednesday!  Go Pens!

Shine them shoes boys and gals.  Were going dancing.  The Penguins totally abused the Flyers yesterday to capture the Eastern Conference Title and wrote in their spot for the Cup finals.  Up until game time, you could tell here in PIttsburgh, the only thing people were thinking about was the time, when the game started, and everything other than those two things didn’t really matter.  Because, at 3:30 on Sunday afternoon the Penguins went on to extinguish the Flyers dreams of making it to the Final Round of the playoffs.

Ray Shero looks like a freaking Genius with the trades he pulled off this year.  Hossa and Dupuis have been making plays left and right, while the U.S.S Gill has been hunkering down the defensive lines.  The Western conference seems a little cloudy as to who the more dominant team is.  Detroit has given up two games to Dallas, and hasn’t been able to clinch that series ending win just yet.  They’ll try and finish it up tonight and try and advance to the Finals.

Dallas, has shown decent play at times, Marty Turco is a machine in net when he is on.  Detroit however, has let me down because I thought they would be smoking Dallas after going up three games.  But with the loss of Franzen, it makes me wonder, is their age finally showing up?  You can only get as far as your goalies can take you.  Marty has been playing out of his mind, as well as our Marc-Andre Fleury.

I think Detriot ranks among the best, except I just don’t trust their Goalies, Osgood looks as if he is slipping at the wrong time in the play-offs, and Hasek was pulled early in the play-off first series.   So surely confidence is a question mark for him.

Honestly, if it comes down to Detroit and Pittsburgh, It’s going to be one star studded series that probably won’t dissapoint.  But either way…. I’ll take my Pens in 6.  Also come join us at our new Forums page.  The link is right here http://www.clayton-nichols.com/forum/phpBB3

Ok, so I’ve been pondering the fact of adding forums for awhile, simply to try and stop the boredum of a day.  I wanted some place I could go, that has a little something for everything.  But, most of all I wanted to control it and be that awesome admin, most places don’t have.  I’m making this a democracy and taking the info and input that I get from the users and making adjustments to what they see fit.

The forums that I have added are mostly entertainment forums, but I have sports/politics/religion.  I created it yesterday so I am still smoothing things out.  Now my mission is to get users.  I want it to be alive with information/etc.  I want it to be a place that you can go to and learn about each other, life, media, all things entertainment.

But, I can’t do this without a few good people, and maybe two or three global administrators.  So please, I am asking, if your willing to help, sign up and let me know.  If you want to talk….please come!  Save my day.  Save your day, and maybe we can get through work a little easier 🙂

and third series we lead 3-0.  Thats an amazing feat for sure.  The game last night, seemed to just drown everyone in the Wachovia Center in their tears except for the Pens.  It would be awesome to see another sweep this post-season, and move on to the finals for one of the most anticipated matches of the last couple of years.  Two hard-working blue collar towns facing off in the rink,  Detroit vs. Pittsburgh.

Although these two teams are riding high with confidence, only one can win, and I honestly believe that the Pens have the talent to shut down or atleast slow the Zetterberg line down.  It’s going to be tough because of how well skilled Detroit is.  The only thing I believe suspect are their goalies(Osgood/Hasek), and they small defense.

I just hope we can bring another championship to a town that is riddled with winners.  I’ll exclude the Pirates because there not going to be winners for a long time(unless you move them to Triple A).  But the Steelers and Penguins are winners, and there is nothing better to have championships in two different sports, within years of each other.

It just changes the city, and everyone is much more personable and alive, we can all relate to at least on thing in this world, and for very brief moments at time time, we can all adapt and get along with each other.  I really don’t even mind the commute into the city(1hr and 30 minute drive here from Greensburg) when DVE rocks the information about the Pens and the things that they say during the times of their games and after games.

On the topic of DVE, I like Mike Prisuta, as a Journalist, he often brings different aspects to his writings and he actually has a personality that shines through on the Air.  I guess thats why he’s on the radio.  Yes this went off topic, but Go Pens,  heres to making a run at Lord Stanley’s Cup!
