Ok, so I’m not gonna lie. I am breaking this habit of doing top ten’s for the last 3 posts. As of right now, I cant think of really anything witty to say, and nothing in the news really has happened. Oh yea, Steelers beat the Brownies. OSU, has no idea how to manage Pryor’s snaps, and the Charger’s were robbed yesterday. I guess its a pretty dirty job when your always looking at the backside of the Steelers(zing!) Sorry Browns fans, had to say it. Ok well on to the top ten dirtiest jobs ranked by career.com!

1.) Roadkill Collector
2.) Manure Inspector
3.) Portable Toilet Cleaner
4.) Crime-Scene Cleaner
5.) Pest Control Worker
6.) Ape Urine Collector
7.) De-construction Worker
8.) Zoo Cleaner
9.) Hot-Zone Superintendent
10.) Dentist

Hopefully I can get something else up today that is somewhat entertaining. Other than that, Digg if you like, in fact, please help Digg this and get me up there! Thanks!

So today I am pretty bored.  Usually Monday’s start off with a bang, but here at the office nothing out of the ordinary has happened.  We had one customer integration problem, but other than that, all I had to do was send it to our CMS database company and they work on it.

Sports are in a Lul moment, but I can safely say only 7 more weeks till vacation AND Steeler’s training camp.  I can’t freaking wait to go watch them(thats the glory of being a resident of Greensburg I guess haha)!  Other than that, the Celtics/Lakers series is turning out to be a pretty straight forward go around.  I’m rooting for the Celtics.  I love Coach Jackson, but when he went to the Lakers I felt he sold out.  I remember back when, the last championship Jackson won with the Bulls he said he was done….then the money pulled him right back.  I say more power to him, but it just comes off as a great way to join a stacked team with Kobe and Shaq to just gain some more rings.  Oh well, I’ll die with my tin-foil hate theorys hahaha.  Go Celtics!  I just want KG and Pierce to get a title, with what both of them have been through on mediocre teams and all, I hope they pull it off.

Hockey season is over and it ended on a stale note with the Pens, oh well maybe next year.  But, with what Hossa said earlier this week about signing for less, I really hope it comes through!  Although were gonna lose many decent players, maybe we can keep Sid and Hossa togethor for a few years.

Ok well other than that, I got nothing.  I hope everything is going smooth for the people that read my stuff out there.  Have fun and enjoy that weather.
P.S. Gas prices piss me off!

and third series we lead 3-0.  Thats an amazing feat for sure.  The game last night, seemed to just drown everyone in the Wachovia Center in their tears except for the Pens.  It would be awesome to see another sweep this post-season, and move on to the finals for one of the most anticipated matches of the last couple of years.  Two hard-working blue collar towns facing off in the rink,  Detroit vs. Pittsburgh.

Although these two teams are riding high with confidence, only one can win, and I honestly believe that the Pens have the talent to shut down or atleast slow the Zetterberg line down.  It’s going to be tough because of how well skilled Detroit is.  The only thing I believe suspect are their goalies(Osgood/Hasek), and they small defense.

I just hope we can bring another championship to a town that is riddled with winners.  I’ll exclude the Pirates because there not going to be winners for a long time(unless you move them to Triple A).  But the Steelers and Penguins are winners, and there is nothing better to have championships in two different sports, within years of each other.

It just changes the city, and everyone is much more personable and alive, we can all relate to at least on thing in this world, and for very brief moments at time time, we can all adapt and get along with each other.  I really don’t even mind the commute into the city(1hr and 30 minute drive here from Greensburg) when DVE rocks the information about the Pens and the things that they say during the times of their games and after games.

On the topic of DVE, I like Mike Prisuta, as a Journalist, he often brings different aspects to his writings and he actually has a personality that shines through on the Air.  I guess thats why he’s on the radio.  Yes this went off topic, but Go Pens,  heres to making a run at Lord Stanley’s Cup!

So much has happened in the past couple of weeks, it’s been hard to post and actually spend some time on here!  I am now labeled as the Web Content Manger at Albert Elovtiz Inc.  The best way to describe what I do, is I am a web master.  I do all things web and deal with the web.  Pretty awesome because I can actually learn as I progress in my daily duties.
I loved where I came from, I’ll miss it for sure, but it was time to move on.  Life is funny like that.  Regardless of what anyone wants to think about being in control…your not.  Life doesn’t wait for anyone or anything.  This was just a simple case of me having to move on and grasp the opportunity that was given to me, and I am highly appreciative.  Moving on to another subject.  I am now thankfully back in the city of Pittsburgh…which was just rated the worst Soot city(http://green.yahoo.com/news/ap/20080501/ap_on_re_us/polluted_cities.html), taking of L.A.  Oh well though, I don’t notice it that much.

I’m a total city boy, I’m glad to be back in the city and seeing such a vast amount of culture and happenings on a daily basis.  It makes the 1 and 15 minute traffic commute in the morning bearable I guess.  That and you can always tell when a city is in a good mood.  The Penguins are in possible sweep mode of the New York Rangers, and the city is starting to have the feeling that we did when the Steeler’s went to the Super Bowl back in ’05.  It’s just an awesome feeling.

I’m just exstatic about the oppurtunities given when you work for them.  A new outlook on life, and a fresh start is totally warrented.  More to come as I figure this crazy awesome life out later….

Man, I still can’t believe Myron Cope has passed away today. I remember my dad listening to him during games with the sound off saying “Phil Simms is the worst announcer I have ever heard, put on the radio and lets listen to Cope.” I can safely say at the time, I always thought it was ridiculous because my brother and I would get yelled at for leaving a light on. But for two to three hours on a Sunday, he would have both the T.V. and the old radio, blasting at the same time.

I guess you could say, more or less, that I now understand what he brought to the Steeler’s and how it changed Sunday and made it better for us fans. Nobody wants to listen to the announcers on T.V. if your a Steeler’s fan, because mostly it seems that if every game, they are always against us, and never point out anything good. It’s always so negative. I to this day still turn DVE on because honest to god, I can’t stand Phill Simms and Troy Aikmen, when either of them are announcing, I instinctively turn that radio on.

I guess, you can consider it a game day tradition, that my father instilled in me because he loved hearing Cope and the gang actually represent the Steeler’s and not negative talk for the most part(only when they had boneheaded plays.) A tradition that Myron Cope played a part in. A tradition that made Steeler football games that much better. A tradition that will continue even without the legend himself. Not because I or any other fan wants it to, but because it was his time to watch the football games from the sky. R.I.P. Myron Cope 1929-2008.
